3 Idiots (2009)

Upon release, 3 Idiots was listed in Guinness World Records for the record of highest box office film gross for a Bollywood film. It collected INR 459.96 crores worldwide. Loosely based on Chetan Bhagat’s Five Point Someone, this movie was hugely accepted by the masses and the critics. It also won 6 Filmfare Awards and 3 National Film Awards. Rancho’s refreshing outlook towards life makes him a famous guy in college. His best friends are Farhan and Raju. As those 4 years of engineering college finish, Rancho leaves the campus, never to meet his friends again. He completely vanishes and 10 years after this incident these two friends find a trace of Rancho through Chatur. They all travel to Simla to find Rancho.


Ghajini (2008)

Director: A.R. Murugadoss

A 2000 Hollywood movie Memento directed by Christopher Nolan is the inspiration for Ghajini. Memento was remade as Ghajini - a Tamil language film that was released in 2005. As it became a massive hit in Tamil Cinema, it was remade in Bollywood featuring Khan alongside Asin, Jiah Khan, Pradeep Rawat, Riyaz Khan, and others. This is the story of a good business tycoon who suffers from acute short-term memory loss. He cannot remember faces, things, addresses, etc. he saw or experienced 15 minutes ago. So, he has many Polaroid cameras that he uses to capture important pictures that will lead him to catch the murderer of his girlfriend Kalpana. This action-thriller Bollywood movie is a must-watch if you are an Aamir Khan fan. The physical transformation with 8 pack abs and acting will mesmerize you.
