The latest Bollywood news doing the rounds is YRF’s blockbuster franchise “Tiger” series. Since the release of the 2nd installment of this franchise film titled “Tiger Zinda Hai”, the expectations of a third movie was ripe. Now, the makers have given a green signal to the third movie in this “Tiger” series. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will headline this highly expected movie and for the role of the villain, the makers have roped in Emraan Hashmi as per rumors and sources.
This blockbuster action thriller film series is produced by Yashraj Films where Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif play the role of spy agents from India and Pakistan. In the first movie, they fell in love, unfortunately, and eloped to some unknown place to lead a simple life. In the 2nd movie, Tiger’s boss from RAW connected with him to save a group of hostages held by a militant terrorist organization in Iraq. This plot was stirred by the 2014 abduction of Indian nurses by ISIL (the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant).
A source close to the film production company has revealed that Emraan will be playing the villain’s role in this third film of the “Tiger” series. Now, this is the first time that in his 18 years of Bollywood career, Emraan Hashmi will be sharing the screen space with Salman Khan. Both these stars have a strong fan base and they are equally excited about their collaboration.
Also, this is going to be the first time for Emraan and Katrina Kaif together sharing screen space. Ek Tha Tiger was directed by Kabir Khan while Tiger Zinda Hai was helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The third film in the series will be directed by Maneesh Sharma of Band Baaja Baaraat fame.
Salman Khan had no release in 2020 due to the global pandemic situation. All his much-awaited movies were postponed because Salman Khan movies mean a wholesome entertainer and that cannot happen in a lockdown situation. The upcoming movie of Salman Khan that is ready to hit the theatres is Prabhu Deva’s Radhe. He is filming for Antim: The Final Truth and Pathan.

Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Shyam Madiraju’s Harami that premiered at the Busan International Film Festival on 24th October 2020. The upcoming projects of Hashmi look quite interesting with Chehre, Ezra, and Gangubai Kathiawadi alongside Tiger 3.
